Resumen:
Competitive bidding is being used world-wide for the selection of generation capacity. This paper describes a proposed competitive bidding methodology for the Spanish system, that includes the usual stages of the bidding process: preliminary planning, call for bids, evaluation and selection of bids and negotiation of the contracts.
